KUWAIT CITY, July 13:  In a coordinated security campaign, the General Department of Special Security Forces, in collaboration with the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations, conducted a large-scale operation in the areas of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Al-Hasawi, and Abbasiya. The operation, supervised by Major General Abdullah Safah, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Special Security Affairs, Brigadier Mishaal Al-Shanfa, Director of the General Department of Residence Investigations, Brigadier Rashid Al-Rashed, Director of the General Department of Special Security Forces, and his assistant Brigadier Badr Boumrazouq, alongside Brigadiers Yousef Al-Suri and Abdul Nasser Al-Kandari, resulted in the arrest of 41 violators of the Residence and Labor Law and six individuals without personal identification.

According to an informed security source, the operation began at dawn with special security forces and patrols from the General Department of Residence Investigations closing off entrances and exits in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, as well as internal streets leading to Al-Hasawi and Abbasiya. The intensive inspection campaign, conducted from 5:00 am to 7:00 am, aimed to apprehend violators of residency laws. During the two-hour operation, officers checked the identification of over 350 expatriates, allowing those with valid residency to leave the security points.

The General Department of Security Relations and Media confirmed that such security campaigns will continue across the country to apprehend residency law violators and other wanted individuals. Authorities urged the public to cooperate with security personnel and report any violators or suspicious activities by calling the emergency number 112.
