KUWAIT CITY, April 17: The Ministry of Social Affairs on Wednesday called on all license holders of nurseries—both regular and those catering to children with special needs—to register their information through the ministry’s official website or via the unified government e-services application "Sahel," under the "My Nursery" service, as part of its digital transformation efforts.

In a press statement, the ministry explained that the procedures require the registration of data for all nursery branches by completing the designated fields in the electronic system. It emphasized the importance of ensuring the accuracy and validity of the submitted information, with a deadline set for May 13.

The ministry added that license cancellation processes will continue following the completion of the registration, while license renewal procedures will be carried out only after registration is approved. It also noted that renewal requests must be submitted at least three months before the license expiry date.

Furthermore, the ministry clarified that applications for opening new nurseries are currently suspended until further notice, pending the full organization of existing licenses.
