KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: Dr. Imad Muhammad Al-Ateeqi, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, hosted a meeting in the Burgan Hall of the Oil Complex, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

During the meeting, he welcomed Sheikh Nawaf Saud Nasser Al-Sabah, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, along with the CEOs of the corporation’s oil companies. 

Discussions at the meeting centered on the essential ongoing projects in the oil sector and strategies to expedite their completion.

Minister Dr. Al-Ateeqi commended the efforts of the oil leaders and underscored the importance of continuous human development. He emphasized the application of global best practices in health, safety, security, and the environment to ensure the well-being of workers. 

The Minister and the oil leaders also reviewed crucial projects and production plans within the sector. They delved into the challenges and obstacles hindering progress, exploring potential solutions to overcome these challenges and minimize their impact.
