KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: The Ministry of Interior announced that, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance traffic safety and reduce unlawful behavior, a total of 4,122 traffic violations were recorded from December 12 to 15, 2024, using artificial intelligence (AI) cameras.
In a statement, the Ministry explained that the violations included offenses such as failing to wear seat belts and using mobile phones while driving, all detected through automated monitoring cameras integrated with AI technologies.
The Ministry urged all road users to adhere to traffic regulations and emphasized the importance of continuing to intensify monitoring and awareness campaigns to ensure public safety. It also called on drivers to take responsibility for their actions on the road.
