840 traffic violations issued and 15 arrests made in latest security sweep

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: Following the instructions and directives of His Excellency the Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and as part of ongoing security deployments across all governorates of the country, authorities have issued 840 traffic violations and apprehended:

5 individuals in violation of residency and labor laws,

2 individuals reported as missing,

2 individuals with outstanding arrest warrants,

4 individuals in an abnormal condition,

1 individual in possession of suspected narcotics,

1 individual in possession of suspected alcoholic substances, and

4 vehicles wanted in connection with legal cases, alongside the impounding of 4 additional vehicles for traffic violations.

This comprehensive security campaign was carried out by field sectors, represented by the Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector, Public Security Affairs Sector, and Special Security Affairs Sector, in the areas of Mahboula and Fahaheel early Thursday morning, Nov 21, 2024.

The Ministry of Interior affirms that these campaigns are part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and order across all regions of the country. The ministry reiterates its commitment to continuing its plan to apprehend violators and wanted individuals to ensure public safety.
