LOS ANGELES, Dec 28: Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary 75-year-old vocalist of Black Sabbath, has taken to The Osbournes podcast to address recent viral internet videos falsely claiming his demise. Responding to the misleading content that circulated on YouTube under the title “Celebrities Who Have Died Today,” Ozzy vehemently declared, “I’m not dead. I’m not going any-…-where. And I’m gonna go up and do some more gigs before I’m finished anyway.”

The iconic rocker expressed his disbelief at the clickbait video, humorously quoting Monty Python by saying, “It’s a bit … much, isn’t it? Just a little flesh wound.” While his daughter, Kelly, criticized the death rumors as “really rude,” Ozzy commented on the careful wording used in such videos to avoid legal consequences. “What they do is, they kind of say you’re dead-ish,” he explained. “It’s kind of weird the way they word it. There’s so many sick … out there,” added his wife, Sharon, referring to the creators of the viral hoax.

Adding a touch of humor to the situation, Ozzy’s son Jack teased, “We’ll do the Viking burial. I’ll shoot a flaming arrow on your raft.” The viral internet hoax comes on the heels of Ozzy’s recent health issues, including a spinal injury that led to the cancellation of his performances and his decision to quit touring. In 2019, the rock legend underwent surgery after aggravating neck and back injuries sustained in a previous ATV accident. Following three additional surgeries and a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis, Ozzy expressed his willingness to perform again, taking it one day at a time. Reflecting on his health challenges, he shared, “At the start of my illness, when I stopped touring, I was really pissed off with myself, the doctors, and the world. But as time has gone on, I’ve just gone, ‘Well, maybe I’ve just got to accept that fact.'”
