KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) has modified class hours during Ramadan in order to provide a suitable educational environment for students during the holy month. According to the announcement of the Deanship of Admission and Registration, physical classes will stop and will be online from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm as per the schedule. The class hours have been divided into different periods to suit the needs of students, as lectures will be conducted for an hour or an hour and a half before or after breaking the fast. PAEET added that the exams coinciding with the period of class suspension will be determined on campus, with the possibility of completing some study materials through the digital platforms. In a related development, the Deanship of Admission and Registration confirmed that the registration for courses during Ramadan will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in person, and from 8:00 pm until 2:00 am online. The authority then wished its students “acceptable fast and successful efforts in their studies” during the holy month of Ramadan.
