PACI Removes 1,197 Addresses, Warns of Penalties for Non-Compliance

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: In its ongoing effort to update residence records, the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has announced the removal of 1,197 residential addresses from civil ID cards. This decision, published in the official Gazette Kuwait Today (Al Kuwait-Al-Youm) newspaper, affects individuals whose addresses were deleted either due to requests from residence owners or due to building demolitions.

The Public Authority for Civil Information has directed those affected to update their addresses by visiting the Authority and providing the necessary supporting documents within 30 days from the date of the decision. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in a penalty as outlined in Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982. The fine can reach up to 100 dinars and may be increased based on the number of individuals involved.
