KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: Pakistani Prime Minister's Adviser for Expatriates Affairs and Human Resources, Muhammad Ayoub Afridi stated in a news report saying that he called on Kuwait during a meeting with its ambassador to Islamabad to increase Pakistani workforce and he expressed his gratitude to the ambassador for Kuwaiti governments decision to resume issuing work visas to Pakistanis.
Afridi stated that he assured Ambassador Nassar Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi that Pakistan has a diverse workforce that meets all the requirements of the Kuwaiti labor market. He also called for activating more cooperation and coordination between the two countries regarding the exchange of data on migrant workers and the protection of their rights. In return, Kuwait's ambassador assured him that he would discuss with his country's government the sectors that could receive more Pakistani workers according to their needs.
