KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: An expatriate has filed an assault case against a fellow citizen, supported by a medical report indicating a broken hand and bruises. The altercation stemmed from a dispute over a parking space at Al-Rai markets. Sources stated that the complainant reported being assaulted by the accused in front of his family, resulting in bruises and a broken hand.

According to the source, the victim explained that he was waiting for a vehicle to vacate a parking spot when the accused became agitated. The accused blocked the road and used inappropriate language towards him in front of his family. In response, the victim asked for respect and urged the accused to refrain from offensive behavior. However, the accused quickly escalated the situation by physically assaulting the victim, disregarding his age and the presence of his family.

The source further stated that the victim sought medical attention, obtained a report documenting his injuries, and subsequently went to the police station to file a case. The incident has been classified as a felony due to the fracture and bruises sustained. Law enforcement was provided with the attacker's vehicle details to facilitate his arrest and initiate legal proceedings.
