KUWAIT CITY, June 7: The First Instance Court has obligated a governmental department and a commercial and construction company to pay KD33,000 -- value of the remainder of the house maintenance contract for Sabah Al- Ahmad Marine City -- to a general trading and contracting company. Case files indicate that the contract between the plaintiff and the defendant is for the maintenance of 930 houses and electricity substations in Sabah Al-Ahmad Marine City. The plaintiff is in charge of internal and external surveying works in 50 houses as per the prices stipulated in the contract. All these works were completed but the defendant refused to pay, so the plaintiff filed a case.
