KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: The government is seeking to approve pension money for retirees whose salaries are less than 700 dinars so that the salary of each of them will reach 1,000 dinars. reports Al-Qabas daily. Meanwhile, the informed sources reiterated that work continues to reach the best mechanisms to provide justice to retirees, in addition to benefiting from their expertise, albeit some of them so that the areas of Kuwait can benefit from them.

At the level of government-parliamentary work, the source indicated that the government discussed the priorities that will be discussed today with the Priorities Committee in the National Assembly, revealing a government parliamentary consensus - in principle - on 18 priorities that were recently discussed in the government-parliamentary coordination committee. The source stated that the government does not mind approving a large part of these priorities in the next session, but some of them require caution and more comprehensive studies, so the approval of some priorities may be delayed. The source explained that the strategic alternative is one of the priorities that may take a longer time to be approved due to its complexity and subject to further studies by the relevant state authorities, noting that there is continuous coordination between the authorities in this regard.
