KUWAIT CITY, Mar 5: The Investigation Department has apprehended a Kuwaiti citizen in his thirties with a prior criminal record, linked to multiple theft and drug-related cases. The arrest took place during an ambush conducted in one of the areas within the Capital Governorate.

A security source revealed that following a rise in theft incidents targeting citizens' vehicles in parking lots and commercial markets, a specialized task force was assembled to investigate the cases. It was discovered that the crimes were all carried out using the same method. After several days of investigation, the suspect was identified as a man in his thirties with a history of theft and drug offenses. Authorities monitored his activities and located him in an area within the Capital Governorate. Upon his arrest, he was found in possession of stolen items. Consequently, both the suspect and the recovered stolen goods were handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
