KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9, (Agencies): A team of officers from the Fahaheel police station executed a raid on an apartment that had been converted into an illicit liquor manufacturing facility in Fahaheel. This operation was conducted based on the information that the apartment was being used for the production of liquor. Upon entering the hideout, security officers discovered four expatriates, alongside a cache of illicit items, which included 100 bottles of imported liquor, 1000 bottles of locally manufactured liquor, barrels filled with liquor, and specialized equipment designed for liquor production.

According to a credible security source, the expatriates confessed to their involvement in importing empty liquor bottles as well as preparing supplies from overseas, subsequently marketing these products as imported liquor. As soon as the Director General of Ahmadi Security, Brigadier General Muhammed Mutlaq was apprised of the situation, he promptly ordered the commencement of legal proceedings and directed Major Ghanim Al-Otaibi, the area commander, to execute a parliamentary warrant.

Following the successful operation, the four individuals engaged in this unlawful enterprise, as well as the confiscated contraband, were handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
