KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Authorities have initiated investigations following a reckless driving incident involving a Korean vehicle and another Vanette, leading to the referral of both vehicles to the impoundment garage. The incident, registered at the Al-Waha police station under No. 65/2024 for "misdemeanors," pertains to the charge of enabling an accused individual to escape.

According to a security source, the incident unfolded when a Public Security patrol, conducting routine surveillance in the Jahra Stables area, encountered a white Nissan pickup truck lacking metal plates. The vehicle was observed driving recklessly, prompting the patrol to intervene. However, the situation escalated when a white 2017 Korean vehicle attempted to obstruct the patrol and endanger the safety of law enforcement officers.

In response to the provocative actions, both drivers abandoned their vehicles and fled the scene on foot. The authorities have since launched investigations to apprehend the suspects involved in the incident.
