KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: An unidentified officer with the rank of first lieutenant, working in Al-Jahra Traffic, went to Al-Jahra Hospital to receive treatment for a stab wound he suffered during an altercation with another person in the Saad Al-Abdullah area.

A security source told Al-Anba that the officer’s condition is stable, and that he received about 3 stitches in the arm as a result of a stab wound.

The daily said at the time of the incident the officer was off duty and in civilian clothes.

The source stated the security men have identify the perpetrator after listening to statements given by the victim and that the accused is being sought by the police.

The incident has not been recorded as an assault on the security man since he was off duty.
