Police Officers in Disciplinary Detention to Be Released

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, has issued a decision to release all police officers currently serving disciplinary detention. They will be considered to have completed their sentences, effective from tomorrow, Monday.

The Ministry of Interior announced this decision on Sunday, stating that it was made under the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef. The move comes in celebration of National Day, Liberation Day, and the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
