KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The Ministry of Electricity and Water has announced periodic maintenance work for some power transformers, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

A press release issued by the ministry said 17 areas across the six governorates will be affected starting Dec 28, 2024 and continue until Jan 4, 2025. The press statement added, power will be cut off in these areas from 8:00 am for four hours.

However, there will be no power outages or maintenance work happening on Jan 1 and 2.
