KUWAIT CITY,  April 12: The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced on Friday that maintenance will be carried out on several secondary transformer stations across Kuwait’s six governorates, beginning Saturday and continuing for one week.

In a statement posted on its official account on the X platform, the Ministry stated that the maintenance work will lead to power outages in specific areas and during times listed in the official maintenance schedule. It also noted that the duration of the maintenance may be extended or shortened depending on the nature and circumstances of the work.

Additionally, the Ministry called on all citizens and residents to conserve electricity, particularly during peak hours from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
