Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah

KUWAIT CITY, July 7: The President of the Kuwait Aquatics Association, Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah, announced the nomination of swimmer Muhammad Zubaid and swimmer Lara Dashti to participate in the Olympic Games in France. This nomination is part of a strategic plan by the Federation’s Board of Directors to promote and advance the sport.

Sheikh Khaled highlighted that preparations for both Lara Dashti and Muhammad Zubaid are progressing well in Turkey, under the guidance of a skilled technical and administrative team. All obstacles have been addressed to ensure their readiness for the Paris Olympics.

In a press statement, Sheikh Khaled stated that Kuwait aims to gain valuable experience and engage with the world's top swimmers through the participation of Dashti and Zubaid. This experience is expected to benefit future continental and Olympic championships.

He expressed confidence in Dashti and Zubaid, commending their efforts to represent Kuwait honourably. Sheikh Khaled emphasized that they are key assets to water sports in Kuwait, a result of the association's excellent technical and administrative support, along with their natural talent.
