KUWAIT CITY, 24: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al - Khaled this morning initiated the drive of a national vaccination campaign against Coronavirus in the country, he received the first dose of the Pfizer Bionic vaccine.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled confirmed that the Pfizer vaccine is safe and approved by the international authorities, stating that 2 million and 100,000 have already received the vaccine world wide, and vaccine is the only solution to fight coronavirus.

Health Minister Basil Al-Sabah said "We have now started the vaccination campaign against the Covid-19 virus, and we ask God to protect us from epidemic, the campaign of vaccination will continue so that everyone benefits from vaccination without exception"

Other prominent Ministers Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, President of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Hilal Al-Sayer, and Representative Hamad Al-Harshani, received the vaccine dose against Corona.

The Undersecretary for Public Security at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Faraj Al-Zoubi stated that "I call on all security and military men to take the vaccine as they are from the first ranks in order to protect lives and keep everyone safe in service of the country and the citizens"
