KUWAIT CITY, June 5: In a surprise campaign targeting inmates in correctional institutions, authorities seized phones, sharp weapons, wires, and suspected narcotic materials.
Inspection teams from the Special Security Forces, in collaboration with the Prison Security Administration, carried out an unannounced inspection of inmates in the central prison complex. The operation resulted in the confiscation of numerous contraband items, including mobile phones, wires, sharp weapons, and suspected narcotic substances, all of which were cleverly concealed by the inmates. The seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities, and appropriate legal actions are being taken.
