KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: Former MP Mutab Al-Jalal is mourning the death of his brother Ahmed, who passed away recently and was buried at Subhan Cemetery. Al-Jalal posted on his account on the ‘X’ platform: “My dear and beloved brother Ahmed Nasser Al-Jalal has passed on to the mercy of Allah Almighty.” Ahmed Al-Jalal was stabbed to death in Hadiya by a fellow citizen who is now under police custody. The Public Prosecution announced that it has started investigating the case, stating that it received a report about a citizen who stabbed another citizen to death in Hadiya.
The prosecution affirmed that it had initiated the procedures; starting with a thorough inspection of the crime scene, while the victim’s body was referred to the Forensic Medicine Department at the Interior Ministry. A case was registered against the suspect who is now in detention and investigations are underway.
