Al-Qadsia is looking for a fifth victory.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 1: The Union Hall at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Halls Complex will host an exciting "summit" clash between Qadsia and Kazma at 7:00 pm in the sixth round of the Union Volleyball Championship. Earlier in the evening, the same venue will feature another encounter between Burgan and Al-Shabab at 5:00 pm.

Qadsia enters the match ranked second with 12 points, equal to Kazma, which holds third place due to a goal difference. Both teams have won all four of their matches in the championship so far, setting the stage for a highly competitive showdown.

Qadsia, delivering standout performances under Bahraini coach Redha Ali, is a strong contender for the title. The team relies on key players such as Nasser Dashti, Rashid Anbar, and Nasser Abdul Samad, along with Iranian professional Mohammad Reza Beyk and Dutch star Thijs Ter Horst.

Kazma, on the other hand, is led by Brazilian coach Kakarato and boasts a robust lineup including Mishaal Al-Omar, Abdulrahman Al-Mutawa, Abdulwahab Al-Jiran, Mubarak Abdulhadi, and international talents like Cuban professional Abraham Alfonso and Frenchman Samuel Genie.

In the earlier match, Burgan, currently fourth with 11 points, aims to maintain its strong form against fifth-placed Al-Shabab, who have 7 points. Burgan has been performing impressively and is vying for a spot in the semi-finals, but it faces a tough challenge from Al-Shabab, a team capable of halting its winning streak.

The tournament follows a single-round league system, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. The first-ranked team will face the fourth, while the second plays the third, and the winners will progress to the showdown.
