KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27:  Qadsia SC qualified for the final of the Amiri Cup after its victory over its arch rivals Al Arabi SC who were the defending champions for the last season. The match took place in Al Jaber International Stadium where both teams played well. In the 16th minute Ali Fayez put Qadsia SC into a lead with a perfect header, Qadsia SC had one more chance to score a goal which was wasted. Al Arabi on other hand wasted several opportunities to score goals. In a rare incident an assistant referee, Muhammad Sadiq was injured with a crap and was replaced by video referee, Abdel Hadi Al-Anzi.

In the second half Al Arabi SC posed threats to its opponent, whereas Qadsia SC wasted many opportunities again. Finals will be played on 23rd Nov against Kuwait SC.

After a long gap of sporting events for spectators, supporters of Qadsia SC and Al Arabi SC thronged to the stadium to cheer their teams by chanting songs and motivating their team players.
