DOHA, Feb 26: Qatar's Civil Service and Government Development Bureau has announced new working hours and remote work policies for the public sector during Ramadan. Employees subject to the Human Resources Law will work five hours daily, from 9 AM to 2 PM, with an option to start by 10 AM as long as the full five hours are completed. Remote work will be allowed for up to 30% of staff, with priority given to Qatari mothers and people with disabilities, ensuring work continuity. The health and education sectors will follow adjusted schedules based on their specific needs.
