KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Raad Kuwait clinched the Flag Football League Championship with a thrilling 29-22 victory over Al-Shaheed in the final match held at Boulevard Stadium. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Sheikh Mishaal Talal Al-Fahad, former Vice President of the Asian American Football Federation and founder of the game in Kuwait; Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Al-Nawaf, Vice President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee; Mohammed Khalfan, Director General of the Kuwait Olympic Committee; and Madi Al-Mutairi, President of the Kuwait American Football Committee.

The final delivered excitement and intense competition, with the first half ending in a tie before Raad Kuwait secured the win with a decisive touchdown.

Sheikh Mishaal Al-Fahad expressed gratitude to the Kuwait Olympic Committee for its support, emphasizing that the championship should serve as a stepping stone for future local tournaments, fostering player development and interaction as the Kuwaiti national team prepares for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic qualifiers.
