Rare breed tiger worth 15,000 KD confiscated in Khaldiya

KUWAIT CITY, March 2: The environment police affiliated to the Environment Public Authority have seized a six-months-old rare breed tiger whose market value is estimated at 15,000 dinars, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the environment police acting on information and after getting permission from the Public Prosecution raided the house in Khaldiya and confiscated the caged tiger.
The family has been issued a citation for violating the Environment Protection Law which forbids rearing predators. According to the owner of the tiger he was rearing the rare tiger for the purpose of what he called ‘amusement
