KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Authorities have launched a search for a group of reckless individuals who assisted a young man in escaping from traffic patrols in the desert area of Al-Qawafil in southern Kuwait. The group deliberately obstructed law enforcement officers, allowing the suspect to flee on foot.
According to a security source, the Ahmadi Traffic Department received a report about a gathering of young people engaging in reckless behavior in the area. Upon arrival, patrol officers spotted a sports car without license plates being driven dangerously. The driver attempted to flee but, after failing to escape in the vehicle, abandoned it and ran on foot. His friends then intervened, hindering the officers and facilitating his getaway. The authorities have impounded the vehicle and are actively tracking those involved to refer them to the relevant legal authorities.
