KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: The investigator at the Hawally police station has ordered the arrest of a young man accused of assaulting an expatriate woman and forcibly stealing her mobile phone. 40 yr old victim, filed a complaint and provided a medical report as evidence, leading to the case being classified as a felony under mugging. According to a security source, the woman stated that the suspect had previously proposed to her but was rejected. Following this, he allegedly attacked her and took back the mobile phone he had gifted her. The incident occurred in the Hawally area, and the victim claimed there were witnesses to the assault. The medical report indicated that she sustained bruises and abrasions on her face, neck, and right thigh but had no fractures.
