The 71-year-old actor, primarily recognized for his compelling performances as a villain, experienced discomfort at his residence on Tuesday night. He was swiftly rushed to a nearby hospital, where he eventually succumbed to a heart attack. The news of his sudden departure has left the film industry and his fans in deep sorrow.

Johny’s funeral is scheduled to take place in his hometown of Kollam on Thursday, offering an opportunity for his admirers and colleagues to pay their last respects to the departed actor.

Born as Johny Joseph, he was affectionately known as KundaraJohny, representing his roots in Kundara, Kollam district. His cinematic journey began in 1979, and he remained an indispensable part of the industry throughout his illustrious career.
