KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: The Ministry of Interior has launched an investigation following a report filed by a citizen who claimed that a sum of money was stolen from a vehicle he rented from a company in the Al-Rai area. The complainant, born in 1995, reported to the police that 100 dinars went missing from the vehicle, which he had stored in the upper drawer designated for sunglasses. He stated that upon returning to retrieve the vehicle, he found it missing from the spot where he had parked it.
The citizen further explained that after contacting the rental company, he was informed that the car had been towed due to unpaid dues. Upon visiting the company to collect his belongings and the money, he discovered the cash was missing. The company officials, however, denied any knowledge of the missing funds. The case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
