KUWAIT CITY, Mar 5: Jahra security forces have arrested two young men with criminal records who were found under the influence of drugs and in possession of two bags containing shabu (methamphetamine), marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. It was discovered that one of the individuals had previously been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

According to a security source, Jahra security personnel became suspicious of a vehicle carrying two individuals during a routine patrol in the commercial area. After stopping and inspecting the vehicle, it was determined that the occupants were under the influence of drugs. Upon their arrest and a subsequent search, four bags of crystal meth and drug paraphernalia were found in their possession.

The source further revealed that upon reviewing the records of the two suspects, it was found that one of them was wanted in connection with a criminal case and had a pending 10-year prison sentence. Both individuals, along with the confiscated items, were handed over to the General Department for Drug Control for further legal action. They are currently being held pending charges related to the possession of narcotic substances for drug abuse.
