KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1: Authorities have summoned a retired female employee from the Ministry of Transport following allegations of insulting and verbally abusing a female employee at the ministry. A citizen who witnessed the incident testified in support of the complainant and confirmed the presence of additional witnesses.
According to a security source, the complainant stated that while she was working in the same building, she overheard a heated argument between the retired woman and a secretary in the office of the Assistant Undersecretary. The retired woman was reportedly raising her voice and arguing with the secretary, who attempted to calm her by saying, "Relax, I just left my office to check the mail."
The complainant was then called by the secretary to assist in the situation. As she approached and tried to address the matter, it became apparent that the issue did not concern her office but rather a matter on the second floor. However, this explanation reportedly angered the retired woman, who began shouting and said, "Instead of shouting and getting angry, come back tomorrow at the end of the work day."
