KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, a finalized list of employees earmarked for retirement has been compiled. The Ministry has previously communicated with the Social Insurance Institution and the Civil Service Commission to verify the eligibility of these employees for retirement pensions. The total number of individuals on the retirement referral list exceeds 300.

The sources clarified that these employees, surpassing 32 years of service and aged over 55, will soon face retirement. Dr. Jassim Al-Astad, the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, is anticipated to issue a decision formalizing their retirement in the near future. It was further emphasized that the retirement decision encompasses individuals in supervisory roles. The objective is to create opportunities for other employees to assume these vacant supervisory positions, optimizing the utilization of workforce capabilities.
