MOSCOW, June 8: Russia's senior Islamic cleric on Wednesday decorated Kuwait's ambassador to Moscow Abduaziz Al-Adwani with a prestigious order, in an effort to acknowledge his contributions towards improving bilateral ties among the clerical elite. The Kuwaiti diplomat has contributed immensely towards bringing religious and Islamic bodies in Kuwait and Moscow closer together, Russian Council of Muftis chief Rawil Ayinuddin said in a statement. The Kuwaiti envoy promised to remain committed in his efforts to bolster bilateral relations, saying Moscow and his country have long enjoyed an illustrious relationship across various fields.(KUNA)
