Expats from Farwaniya, Salmiya, Khaitan and Jleeb Al-Shuyukh do not comply to "Stay At Home" strictly

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 21: MP Safaa al-Hashem affirmed that curfews are not an option, but rather a necessity, adding, “I have full confidence in the health authority’s decision for a complete the ban sooner rather than later.”

Al-Hashem said that Kuwaitis returning from abroad is linked to the responsibility of everyone inside Kuwait so that the infection does not spread rapidly as it has happened in Italy.

She stated that the partial ban must begin on all areas of expats which is a necessity because we see areas like Farwaniya, Salmiya, Khaitan and Jleeb Al-Shuyukh still do not comply to the rules strictly. As for the outskirts of Kuwait, there should be isolation of each region

She requested those who have decided to stay on farms and chalets not to have large family gatherings. Al-Hashem warned that ordering from restaurants and home delivery food service is like inviting trouble which will cause misfortunes, noting that she will put this matter forward with Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Municipality

Al-Hashem answering to question on if total ban is necessary, she said that "Safety of our parents abroad is linked to our commitment to a total ban."

Al-Hashem concluded, "I repeat what the Minister of Health, Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, said: We swear to you by God, to keep your commitment and stay in our houses"
