KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: Yousef Kazem, the official spokesperson for the unified government e-services application "Sahel," announced that over 4.3 million electronic transactions were completed through the app in November.
Kazem told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Monday that seven new electronic services were added to the application during the month. He also mentioned that 74,638 new users registered and downloaded the app on various smart device systems to take advantage of its services.
The most requested and completed services through the app in November included the "student absence inquiry" service provided by the Ministry of Education, the "biometric fingerprint verification" service from the Ministry of Interior, and the "certificate inquiry" service offered by the Civil Service Commission.
Kazem emphasized that the "Sahel" application continues to develop its services and add more electronic notifications in collaboration with government agencies and institutions. He also highlighted the importance of creating an exceptional user experience that speeds up and simplifies the completion of official transactions.
