KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22:  Yousef Kazem, the official spokesperson for the government's integrated electronic services application, "Sahel," announced that Kuwaiti citizens and expats can now schedule appointments for their biometric fingerprints directly through Sahel application. Kazem outlined the process during a press statement on Thursday, explaining that users need to log in to the application, navigate to the "Appointments" section, and select "Book an Appointment."

From there, they should choose the Ministry of Interior, followed by the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, and opt for "Biometric Fingerprint." After selecting the preferred location, users can view available appointments for specific days and times. Upon successful booking, users will receive a confirmation notification, along with a reminder to the "Kuwait Mobile ID" application or civil ID when arriving for the biometric fingerprint procedure. Kazem emphasized that this service aligns with the Ministry of Interior's directive, requiring citizens and residents to undergo biometric fingerprinting within the next three months to prevent any disruptions in Ministry of Interior transactions.
