KUWAIT CITY, April 16: The Sahel app circulated to its users a warning issued by the Ministry of Interior about fake or fraudulent websites that promote discounts on traffic fines, with the intent of stealing banking information, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Ministry of Interior urged citizens and residents to use official government applications, such as Sahel, for electronic payments and to avoid engaging with any suspicious links. The Sahel app also reminded users that the ministry stresses the importance of verifying the authenticity of links before using them and refraining from entering banking details on any unofficial or untrusted websites
