Al-Qadisiya player makes a goal attempt.

KUWAIT CITY, May 25: In the third round of the Premier League, the Salmiya Club's first handball team dealt a blow to their opponent, Al-Qadisiya, with a decisive 29-21 victory at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex hall. This loss marks the second consecutive defeat for the "Yellow" club. The triumph for Al-Samiyai comes after two consecutive losses, revitalizing their standing in the league. In other third-round matches, Al-Arabi secured a 29-26 win against Burgan, while Kuwait Club dominated Kazma with a 34-21 victory. As it stands, Kuwait Club leads the Premier League standings with 30 points, followed by Al-Qadisiya with 25 points, and Kazma in third place with 24 points. Al-Salmiya sits in fourth place with 23 points, Al-Arabi in fifth with 21 points, and Burgan in sixth with 18 points.

Today, the fourth round matches are scheduled, with Burgan facing Al-Qadisiya at 4:30 pm, Al-Arabi playing against Kazma at 6:00 pm, and Kuwait Club concluding the matches against Al-Salmiya at 7:30 pm.

In the first division league, Al-Fahaheel emerged victorious over Al-Sahel with a score of 33-29 in the second round, while Al-Sulaibikhat dominated Al-Tadamon with a commanding 54-22 win.
