KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: In a recent operation, inspectors from the Control Department of the Ministry of Trade and Industry took action by shutting down a men's salon located in the bustling Salmiya area. The closure came as a result of the salon's use of expired cosmetics, creams, and shaving creams, raising serious concerns about public health and safety.
The inspection team, carrying out routine checks on businesses, discovered the salon's violation of hygiene and safety standards during a surprise visit. The usage of outdated beauty products posed potential risks to customers, prompting immediate intervention.
Salon officials found responsible for the use of expired items, were handed over to the Commercial Prosecution. Legal measures are expected to be taken against them to address the violation and ensure accountability.
