KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The General Fire Department successfully contained a blaze that erupted in an electrical transformer in the Salwa area. Firefighting teams swiftly arrived at the scene, quickly working to control and extinguish the flames without any reported injuries.
Later, the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy later announced that power at the main transformer station "Salwa D" had been restored. Efforts are underway to gradually reactivate the sub-feeders to complete the full power restoration process.
Earlier, the Ministry reported a minor fire at one of the station's primary feeders, which resulted in a complete power shutdown. Emergency response teams, including fire brigades and Ministry-affiliated crews, swiftly extinguished the fire and promptly began restoration efforts.
