KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: After some pictures of a recent function were published on the Facebook by a certain community, several people are planning to file a complaint with the local authorities accusing a group of organizers of violating the sanctity of religion.

The pictures depict the desecration of the Holy Bible which is clearly visible on the floor of the stage, literally near the feet of one of the singers, which shows utter disrespect for the religion.

It is not known how, why or who placed the Holy Book on the floor. What adds insult to injury is the disregard shown by some artistes and their like who look indifferent to the sentiments of those who value the sanctity of the Holy Book and their religion.

It is worth mentioning here that the incident happened during the staging of a Konkani drama, in which artistes from overseas took part.

As per the producer of the show Simon Gonsalves on his Facebook account he mentioned that right from the first show he always kept the Holy Bible on the floor at the feet of the performing artists so that they can get inspiration, blessing and source of strength.
