RIYADH, Feb 26 : The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' bombing of several areas in the Syrian Arab Republic. The persistent attempts by the Israeli occupation forces to destabilize Syria's security and stability constitute a serious violation of the relevant international laws and conventions, the Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands in solidarity with the Syrian government and people, and urges the international community to assume their responsibilities for halting the Israeli actions, which pose a serious threat to the security and stability inside and outside the Middle East region, according to the statement. The Israeli occupation forces launched air attacks on the southern outskirts of Damascus and the southern city of Daraa last night amid troops incursions into border areas. (KUNA)
