Saudi Arabia launches innovative 'ksavisa.sa' platform to transform visa procedures.

RIYADH, Dec 20: In a significant stride toward its tourism objectives, Saudi Arabia has introduced a cutting-edge unified visa platform, as revealed by Abdulhadi Almansouri, the Kingdom's Assistant Minister for Executive Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The unveiling took place during Almansouri's address at the Digital Government Forum (DGF) in Riyadh, where he highlighted the platform's role in streamlining visa processes.

The newly launched website, 'ksavisa.sa,' offers a comprehensive solution, allowing all travelers, including those embarking on Hajj and Umrah, tourists, and work visa applicants, to conveniently secure their visas online. Almansouri conveyed that the platform is currently available in a beta version, emphasizing its efficiency in providing a user-friendly experience.

Applicants using 'ksavisa.sa' can not only submit their visa requests online but also track their applications seamlessly. The majority of applications are anticipated to be processed within a swift timeframe of three business days, promising a hassle-free experience for users.

Saudi Arabia's tourism ambitions extend beyond the introduction of the unified visa platform. The country is actively working to attract a higher number of foreign visitors and holidaymakers, implementing a series of initiatives to bolster its tourism sector. Among these initiatives is the electronic visit visa system, accessible to nationals from 63 countries and eligible residence-visa holders, including GCC residents, US residents, UK residents, EU citizens, and holders of visit visas to the U.S., UK, and the Schengen area.

Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia unveiled a four-day free transit visa, specifically catering to visitors intending to perform Umrah and explore Medina. Travelers interested in this opportunity can conveniently apply for the visa through the platforms of Saudia Airlines and Flynas. As Saudi Arabia continues to enhance its visa processes and implement visitor-friendly policies, it aims to establish itself as a leading destination for global tourism.
