NEW YORK, Sept 24, (Agencies): Reality TV star Savannah Chrisley confirmed the tragic passing of her ex-fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, on Saturday. Kerdiles, aged 29, was a former professional hockey player.

Chrisley, 26, who had been engaged to Kerdiles from 2018 to 2020, paid tribute to him on her Instagram Story. She shared a heartfelt message alongside a photo taken during their engagement photo shoot in 2019, saying, "Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today. I miss you and I love you." She expressed her desire to cherish their last messages and hoped for a sign that he was at peace, perhaps through shared favorite foods.

In a devastating turn of events, Kerdiles lost his life due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in a residential area of Nashville, Tennessee, early Saturday morning. The accident occurred when Kerdiles reportedly ran a stop sign while riding his Indian motorcycle, colliding with a BMW SUV in North Nashville at approximately 3:30 am. The SUV's driver's side was impacted, causing the car to stop immediately. Kerdiles was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he tragically passed away.

Local authorities stated that there were no indications of impairment on the part of either driver, and no charges were expected to be filed against the SUV driver.

Representatives for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department had not responded to requests for comment from Fox News Digital at the time of reporting, while Savannah Chrisley's representative directed inquiries to her social media posts.
