KUWAIT CITY, Aug 29: The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has announced a scheduled fresh water shortage affecting the Dasma and Daiya areas. Maintenance work on the water network along Cairo Street will begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, and is expected to continue for approximately 12 hours.
The ministry reported on its official X platform account that the temporary reduction in water supply is due to essential maintenance activities. Residents are advised to cooperate during this period, and those experiencing any water outages can contact the Unified Communication Center at 152 for assistance.
