Security authorities nab Jordanian expat for selling Lyrica pills

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: The Capital Governorate's Investigations Department has successfully apprehended a Jordanian expat suspected of trafficking drugs. This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Interior to monitor and combat the trade in narcotics and psychoactive drugs.

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the Capital Governorate Investigations Department (Jaber Al-Ahmad Investigations Office), detained the individual after confirming intelligence regarding his activities and obtaining the necessary legal authorization. The suspect was caught in an undercover operation while attempting to sell Lyrica pills.

During the operation, the suspect disclosed the location of additional psychoactive substances, leading to the discovery of approximately 500 assorted psychoactive pills in his possession. He, along with the confiscated items, has been referred to the relevant authorities for further legal proceedings.
