KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: The Ministry of Interior conducted a series of security and traffic campaigns across various governorates over the past week, resulting in the arrest of 190 individuals wanted for various offenses, along with impounding vehicles sought by the judiciary. Additionally, 15,866 traffic violations were recorded between August 11 and 17.

According to a statement from the Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Interior, successfully apprehended 9 individuals with criminal convictions, 80 people without official identification, and 80 whose residency permits had expired. They also arrested 12 individuals in possession of suspected narcotics, 2 for possessing alcohol, and 7 who were in an abnormal state.

The operation led to the seizure of 61 vehicles wanted by the judiciary. All arrested individuals, confiscated items, and vehicles were handed over to the relevant authorities.

The statement also noted that 14 disputes were resolved, assistance was provided to 514 individuals, and 6 vehicles were impounded. In total, 1,609 security operations were carried out during this period.
